Barry Besch Jr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Barry Besch Jr., age 44 (April 6,1980) of St. Augustine, Florida. Barry went home to be with the Lord on March 16, 2025. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle who touched the lives of many.
Barry leaves behind his beloved wife of 19 years, Nicole Besch, who was his greatest source of love and support. He was a proud and devoted father to Faith Besch, Savannah Besch, and Claire Besch.
Barry Besch Jr. is survived by his parents Barry Besch Sr. (Sheila Besch) and Goldie Rupe, who instilled in him the values of hard work, integrity, and kindness. He is survived by his sisters Jessica Cox (Steve) and Victoria Kelley (Dustin) as well as nieces and nephews Hunter Besch (Skye), Madison Costello, Jace, Lane, Paisleigh, Kelley, and a great nephew and a great niece.
A devoted and honorable man, Barry was an outdoorsman, an avid hunter, fisherman with a passion for the outdoors and wildlife. Barry was one of the owners at Besch and Smith Civil Inc for the past 20 years.
He was preceded in death by both maternal and paternal grandparents along with numerous aunts and uncles.
Viewing will be held at Craig Funeral Home Friday March 21st, starting at 4pm for family only, and 5pm-7pm for friends. The funeral will be held on Saturday March 22nd at 2pm at Craig Funeral Home, burial following at Evergreen Cemetery. A gathering will be held after the graveside services. Location to be announced.
