Barry Lane Brown, 63, of Berwick passed away Wednesday February 22, 2023 at his residence. He was born March 1, 1959 in Bloomsburg, a son of the Doris Brecht of Berwick and the late Harvey Brown.
He attended Millville High School and then joined the United States Army and was honorably discharge in 1986. Barry was a truck driver for various trucking companies for over 45 years. He enjoyed mowing, wood working, being outside, going to the range with his son, fishing, and spending time with his grandchildren. Everyone who knew Barry knew how good of a truck driver he was, besides family trucking was his life. He was a member of Mil-Green United Methodist Church, where he gave his life to Christ a year ago, so we have no doubt where he will be spending eternity.
Barry is survived by his mother as well as his wife the former Deirdre Spickard, whom he married on September 4, 1982, two children; Michael Brown wife Alissa, Jessica Cotterman husband Michael, six grandchildren; Anabelle, Zachary, Daniel, Derrick, Noah, and Emma. As well as three siblings; Basil Brown, Ronnie Brown, and Garry Brown.
Barry was preceded in death by his father as well as his brother Larry Brown.
Services will be Saturday March 11, 2023 at 10:00 am at Mill-Green United Methodist Church, 75 S. State St., Millville with his pastor, Pastor Robert Strozyk officiating. Burial will follow at Pine Summit Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 9:00 am until time of service at the church.
Family and friends may send online condolences to bunnellfuneralhome.com. The Bunnell Funeral Home Inc., Millville is handling arrangements.
