Barry B. Dana, 78, of Milford, beloved wife of Bruce Dana, passed away on June 18, 2025. Born on August 17, 1946 in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Bob Bacon and Jo Maloney.
Born with a gentle spirit and a deep desire to help others, Barry pursued a life of learning and service. She was educated at the Nightingale-Bamford School, and continued her studies at University of Denver, Susquehanna University, and the University of Bridgeport. With determination and heart, she became a registered nurse and served in the field for 21 years, offering comfort, care, and healing to countless patients. Outside of her profession, Barry found joy in cultivating beauty and peace through gardening and was active in the Milford Garden Club for many years. She was the heart of her home-a nurturing mother, a steadfast wife, and someone who gave without asking for anything in return. Her legacy of compassion, quiet strength, and grace lives on in the lives she touched.
Barry is survived by her husband Bruce Dana, her daughter, Lisa Eberle and her granddaughter Victoria (Matt); her siblings Scott Tower and sister Ann Spooner (Don), her niece Emily Spooner McDaniels (Pete), their children Liam and Chloe; her nephew Mark Spooner (Molly) and their daughter Arlo. She is also survived by her step-children, Melanie Dana (Marya Zilberberg), Paul Dana (Alicia), and Peter Dana (Carolyn) and her step-grandchildren, Noah, Sophie, Qatherine, Sarah, and Tim; Barry is predeceased by her son-in-law, Ralph Eberle.
Services are to be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milford Garden Club.
