Barry Joseph Dubuisson, born October 13, 1962, in North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on May 15, 2025, at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson, MS.

Barry was strong in his faith throughout his life and was a calming presence to all who knew him. He attended Pinelake Church. His most treasured times were spent being with his beloved family. Barry was known for being a great listener and advisor.  He also had a playful side, often seen as a prankster and quite the joker.

Barry earned his BBA at Mississippi State University.  Barry enjoyed a fulfilling, decades long career at Puckett Machinery Company in Flowood, MS where he served as HR manager.  He brought joy and laughter to his work family, often showing up at company events as Elvis.  His love for his job was evident, and he cherished being surrounded by his colleagues.

Some of Barry's hobbies were golfing, participating in or attending all manner of sports events, especially football and baseball. He loved  his MSU bulldogs and the New Orleans Saints.  His appreciation of music was off the charts.  He enjoyed relaxing while listening to his favorite jams.  Barry was known for being a great listener often quoting that there is a reason God gave us two ears and one mouth.

Barry leaves behind a loving family, including his wife, Kim Dubuisson; his daughter, Staci Kosharek; his son, Justin Hall and wife Carrie; and his sister, Lori Norrell and husband Billy. He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren: Kendall (Natalie), Lilly (Abby), Ava, Jayden (Ashley), Jaylie, Maci, and Journey, as well as a great-grandfather to Callum. He is also remembered by his nephew Daniel Tuggle and many other beloved extended nieces and nephews, as well as his mother-in-law, June Chalmers.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roland Joseph Dubuisson; his mother, Edna Thigpen Dubuisson; and his father-in-law, Charles Chalmers.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 6:00 PM, at Ott & Lee Funeral Home in Brandon, Mississippi (1360 West Government St., Brandon, MS 39042).
