NANCY WHITE BRYAN

Nancy White Bryan, 77, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2026, in Vero Beach, Florida. A devoted wife, mother, sister, and educator, Nancy's life was marked by her deep love for family, her passion for teaching, and her joyful embrace of life's many adventures.

Born on September 9, 1948, Nancy was the beloved daughter of LTC. Colonel Julian Scott White and Audrey McGuffee. She graduated from Murray High School in Jackson Mississippi before earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Education from Mississippi State University.

Nancy dedicated her professional life to nurturing young minds as a school teacher at Rivers Edge Elementary in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Her commitment to education and the well-being of her students left a lasting impression on countless lives throughout her career.

Beyond the classroom, Nancy found joy in a wide array of hobbies that she shared with her husband and loved ones. She enjoyed boating and kayaking on Florida's waterways, playing bridge with friends, reading avidly, fishing in peaceful settings, and traveling to new destinations. Her faith was an important part of her life; she was an active member of Christ Fellowship Church in Vero Beach and participated regularly in Bible study groups that enriched her spiritual journey.

Nancy is survived by her loving husband William David Bryan; sons Shawn Russell (Amanda Leon), Jonathan David, and Timothy Michael; brother-in-law Clark Bryan (Manya); sisters Bettiann Lloyd (Mark) and Janet Worthy (Alvin); as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and cousins across the country.

She was preceded in death by her parents, LTC. Colonel Julian Scott White and Audrey McGuffee.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Christ Fellowship Church located at 927 14th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida 32960. A graveside service will follow.

Nancy's legacy lives on through the many lives she touched-as a teacher who inspired learning, a family member who gave unconditional love, and a friend whose presence brought warmth and joy. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
