DUES, Barry W. – of Clio, age 77, died Thursday, July 24, 2025, at his residence surrounded by the love of his family. Honoring his wishes, cremation will take place and there will be no service at this time. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to the family for future designation.

Barry was born April 4, 1948, in Flint, to the late Monty and Pearl (Durbin) Dues. He attended Clio Community Schools and was a proudly retired jack of all trades. On June 1, 1966, he married Bonnie Arnett, and together they shared 54 years of marriage. Bonnie preceded him in death in 2020. Barry enjoyed attending the local car shows, collecting odd and end items, and watching westerns – his favorite being the 1989 Lonesome Dove. He liked keeping his hands busy with fixing up small engines and he especially liked shooting his shot at winning the lottery, specifically keno. Barry was a simple man who lived every day to the fullest, and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him.

Barry is forever remembered by: Children: Monty (Debbie) Dues, Cinnamon (Ron) Nelson, Barry (Becky) Dues; Grandchildren, Kati, Kristi, Coral, Jesse; 7 Great Grandchildren; Sister-in-law, Diane Conner; Brother-in-law, Larry Taylor; Several nieces, nephews, extended family, and wonderful friends. Barry was preceded in death by: Wife, Bonnie; Parents, Monty and Pearl; Siblings: Russell, Marshall, Curtis, Norman, Dale, Bethany, and Marla.
