Barry Madding, age 64, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2025 at his residence. His funeral service will be 12:00 P.M. on Friday, January 31, 2025 at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Bro. Brian Wimberley to officiate. Burial will follow the service in Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Named as pallbearers are Ricky Anderson, Eddie Anderson, Brandon Bell, Nick Madding, Wayne Wyatt, and Pete Anderson.
Visitation with the family is scheduled from 4:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday and again on Friday, after 10:00 A.M. until time of service.
Barry Wayne Madding was born November 21, 1960 in Groom, Texas. His father Bobby G. Madding, died when he was six years old. Barry was raised by his mother, the late Betty Sue Anderson McDaniel and by Carl McDaniel who survives in Paris. He married Margaret Anderson Madding on October 29, 1982 and she survives in Paris. Barry is also survived by daughters, Denise (James) Stamps of Buchanan, Crystal Madding of Paris, and April Williams of Buchanan; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Zack), Brooklyn, Logan (Sarah), and Denver (Estrella) Williams; Dawson Thoresen; and Desirea Silcox; great-grandchildren, Greyson, Hudson, and Haisley; brothers, Tony (Pam) Madding of Lavergne, Tennessee; also by numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
Besides his mother and father, Barry is also preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Madding.
Mr. Madding was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, camping, and playing baseball. Barry was a very loving husband, father, grandfather and most especially loved his grandchildren.
