Barry W. Pasqualini

Barry W. Pasqualini Sr., of New London, died April 4, 2023. He was born to the late John and Nora Pasqualini on February 20, 1940 in
New London, CT. He graduated from New London High School in 1958, joined the Air Force
National Guard, and served in Germany during the Berlin Crisis. Barry worked at General
Dynamics, Electric Boat for 60 years, rising from a pipefitter to superintendent of the Trident
Pipe Shop. He was truly dedicated to and loved his work at EB.
Barry is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years, Carol Anne Pasqualini (nee Sullivan), his
three sons, Barry Jr. and wife, Lori of Rowayton, CT, Martin John and wife, Kathleen of Boston,
MA, Steven and wife, Angela of Burlington, CT; five grandchildren, Phillip, Sarah, Michael,
Alyse, and Ryan; two brother-in-laws, M.J. and Patrick Sullivan; special godson, William
Sullivan, and sister, Barbara McPherson.
Devoted, caring husband, proud father, and loving grandfather, Poppy will always be loved,
remembered and greatly missed by his family. He was an avid fan of the New York Giants, New
York Yankees, and the UCONN Huskies. Barry was a faithful Catholic and lifelong parishioner of
St. Joseph Catholic Church. He was a member of the Seaside Council #17 Knights of Columbus.
Calling hours for Barry will be held from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 18, 2023 at the Thomas L. Neilan & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Ocean Avenue, New London, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will held at
10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in New London.
