It is with heavy hearts that the family of Barry Dean Stockstill announces his passing on July 12, 2025, at the age of 64.

Born August 6, 1960, at Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, Mississippi, Barry lived a life full of warmth, humor, and boundless love for his family and friends. He had a gift for making people laugh and feel at ease. His presence brought light and joy to every room he entered. His loyalty and genuine nature left a lasting impact to all who knew him.

Barry spent over two decades as an over-the-road truck driver, a career he embraced with commitment and pride. His dedication to the profession earned him a membership in the prestigious "Million Mile Club". After retiring in 2023, Barry settled on his cherished property in Picayune, MS. He poured his heart into creating the peaceful home he had long envisioned-his own little piece of Heaven.

He found his greatest joy in his family, especially his grandchildren, who were the pride of his life. Barry was never happier than when surrounded by loved ones, sharing stories, laughter, and love.

Barry is survived by his father, Larry Stockstill, and his stepmother, Sharron Herrin Stockstill; two sisters, Lori Morgan and Sonia (Toby) Jenkins; his children, Eric (Suzanne) Stockstill, Heather (Daron) Bickle, and Deanna (Matt) Cates; and his cherished grandchildren, Conner, Ethan, Jaxon, Cooper, and Cameron. He is also lovingly remembered by his cousins, niece, and nephew, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Vonda Faye Justice, whose memory he carried with him always.

Barry's passing leaves an immeasurable void in the lives of those who knew and loved him. His legacy of laughter, kindness, and unwavering love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Celebration of Life will be held, Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 11:00am at McDonald Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be held, Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at McDonald Funeral Home.
