He is survived by his loving daughter, Bridgette Blanchard, son-in-law Chris Alvarez, grandchildren, Matthew Blanchard, Elijah Blanchard, Daniel Juan Alvarez, VeraLynn Alvarez, Bernadette Alvarez, brother Robert Blanchard, and extended family and friends.
Bart had such a way with words. He loved driving to the hill country on his Harley. His love knew no end. He was always willing to give, even during impossible circumstances. He was a man who knew how to make anyone he met laugh. His inspiration was always his grandchildren. He made sure to call them every night to wish them off to sleep. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.
His service/ memorial will be on Friday, May 2nd, 2025, from 9:00 am-11:30 am at Mission Park Funeral Chapels Cherry Ridge. 3401 Cherry Ridge Dr, San Antonio, Texas 78230.
