Bartolo is survived by his children Marta, Ana Maria and Elmer, grandchildren Walter, Douglas, Ericka, Crystal, Georgianna, Sue, Victoria, Elmer Jr, Annalee, Michael, Keilyann, Elias and Akeira, 21 great grandchildren and sister Yolanda. He is preceded in death by his wife, Eloisa, and his children Patricia and Juan Carlos.
Bartolo was a man of very few words, but if you paid close attention, you would learn the following about him. The love that he carried for his family was shown through his hard work day in and day out. In every task that he was challenged with, he showed dedication, loyalty and perseverance. His favorite pastime was gardening, and he had the greenest thumb around. He delighted in nurturing all of his plants and flowers, but his favorite was always roses. In true Guatemalan spirit, he had a nickname for each and every special person in his life. Memories that will be remembered as we navigate this difficult time without him. He will be greatly missed by his loving family and always carried in their hearts.
We are sincerely grateful to the many friends and family who have given us support and comfort during this time of loss.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 25th, 2024 at 10 A.M. at First Baptist Farmers Branch with interment to follow at Rolling Oaks Memorial Center.
