Celebrating the life of Barton Lawrence Perkins, a shining example of faith, love, and dedication. On December 19, 2025, Bart's journey on earth came to an end in Georgia, as he was taken home to be with the Lord. But his legacy will live on. Born to Kenny and Shirley Perkins on November 10, 1963, Bart's life was a beautiful blend of family, faith, and adventure. His love story with Helen is a testament to the power of true love, spanning from childhood to marriage in 1986. As president and CEO of Kisco Sales, Bart demonstrated exceptional leadership and commitment. Bart lived life to the fullest, whether racing, exploring sand dunes, or speeding across lakes. At Valley Bible Fellowship, Bart's faith was the foundation of his life. He was also a loyal supporter of the Dodgers and the Bears.
Bart's enthusiasm was infectious.
His greatest joy was his grandkids. He loved every minute with them, and all of their events. Proud of each one of them!
Cherishing his memory are his wife Helen Perkins; son Auston Perkins and wife Tess Rybowiak-Perkins; daughter Ashton Byrd and husband Zachary; son Aryton Perkins; grandchildren Grayson Byrd, Jackson Byrd, and Addison Perkins. And his mother in law Edith Schiller.
In keeping with Bart's wishes, he will be cremated.
The family will host a celebration of Bart's life on Sunday, January 18, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Valley Bible Fellowship. 2300 East Brundage Lane, Bakersville, California.
Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is honored to serve the cremation needs of the Perkins family.
