Beatrice Bernadette Clayton

Beatrice Bernadette Barone Clayton, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away at ninety-eight years of age on November 7, 2025 at Angela Hospice in Livonia, Michigan. She was born to Joseph Barone and Beatrice DiRobertis Barone on May 16, 1927. She attended DeLasalle Junior College in Newton, Massachusetts where she earned an associate degree.
Bea was the beloved spouse of John "Jack" Clayton, devoted mother to five children, grandmother to ten children, and great-grandmother to nine children. She was an avid gofer and loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughters Bea (Patrick) Kelly, Suzanne (Matthew) Stanczyk, Caroline (Randy) Keef, and her son, John (Susan); her grandchildren Regan (Chris) Gausselin, Joseph (Michelle) Kelly, Erin (Tim) Madden, Danielle Clayton, John Michael Clayton, Sarah (Maddie) Stanczyk, Alex (Marissa) Stanczyk, Zachary Stanczyk, and Michael Aaron Clayton; and great-grandchildren Ciaran Gausselin, Fran Madden, Shae Gausselin, Jimmy Madden, Grayson Gausselin, Jackson Kelly, Hunter Kelly, Matthew Stanczyk, and Aidrian Mark Stanczyk. Bea was predeceased by her husband; her son, Michal Gregory; and her granddaughter, Alexis Lauren Keef. She also was predeceased her two sisters and a brother.
Friends and family will gather on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 11:00 am until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at Wm. Sullivan & Son Funeral Directors-Royal Oak, 705 W. Eleven Mile Road. Inurnment will be take place at a later date.
