Beatrice Henderson Obituary Beatrice known as "Bea" was born on November 23rd, 1945, in Bailey, Tennesse. Her parents are Annie Mae and Leroy Ferguson. Theres 4 brothers Herbert, L.V., Sam, and Charles Ferguson and 2 sisters Annie and Essie Ervin that are no longer with us. There are two sisters living now, Ann and Dorothy. She was the 5th child from the oldest out of nine.
At five years old she came to Chicago with her grandmother. She was married to Mr. James D. Henderson for 28 years whom she loved very much. She was accepted in the congregation at the kingdom hall in Chicago, which she remained until the end of her time.
Bea went on to graduate from John Marshall High school, and completed college courses at Lake Michigan College. She was employed at Duncan Hines after High School, Gucci as an armed security guard, Diamond Sheers as a Cosmetologist, Hairstylist, and Misericordia as a Manager, and Assistant Art instructor.
Bea was a woman of faith, integrity, and character. She was a loyal wife, a nurturing mother, and an inspiring grand/great grandmother. Anyone who had the chance to share experiences with her, would all say the same thing; she was selfless and always kept it real. One thing you had to know and must never forget is "she was from the westside of Chicago." Above all, she was a beautiful person.
She enjoyed art and cooking. Creating things from scratch, making something out of nothing, or just adding a special touch was her talent. Anytime she was expecting company, she would always ask, "is it something I can make for you?" That was just the nurturer in her.
On Sunday March 23rd, 2025 is when Jehovah called his angel home. At 79 years old, Bea lived to raise 3 generations Helena (Daughter), Kenny, Andriana, Khaleo (Grandchildren), Kyngston, and Jah Jah,.Zhuri (Great grandchildren) before entering eternal rest at family residence in Milwaukee, WI. With family by her side, our love and memories of her will remain forever.
She was welcomed to the afterlife by James Henderson (Husband), Annie Mae & Leroy Ferguson (Parents), Herbert, L.V., Sam, and Charles Ferguson (Brothers), Annie and Essie Ervin, and Jah Jah (Great Grandson).
She left behind many loved ones including her family, friends, and her congregation.

In Memory Of A Loved One
To lose Someone I loved so much
brings pain beyond belief
there are no words to ease my pain
my sadness and my grief
I feel Ive lost someone so close
So wonderful and dear
I think about your special ways
And wish that you were near
But although you have left this world
Youll stay within my heart
guiding like an angel
even though we are apart
For love is everlasting
And so are my memories-
Your legacy thats always there
To light the way for me.
