Beatriz Elena Contreras, 70, entered into eternal rest, Wednesday, April 19, 2023.
She cared deeply for her family, her loyalty unmatched. You could be sure to receive a phone call, her checking on you. She'd call and say "Hola, te hablo porque." She enjoyed long conversations where her jokes could fill a room with laughter. She also loved speaking of various cultures and telling stories of her past. Nena was an avid lover of dogs, birds and gardening. Her love for plants went way beyond having a green thumb. She believed in the energy and healing they brought to us. She was a hardworking, strong, dedicated and fashionable individual. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her. May she rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesus Contreras Vicenzio & Socorro Rodriguez Martinez; brother, Rene Contreras.
Beatriz is survived by her daughter, Martha (Antonio) Jimenez; sister, Maria Contreras; brothers, Agustin Contreras, and Jesus Contreras Jr.; grandchildren, Michael (Jessica) Jimenez, Christopher Jimenez, Alexis (John) Jimenez, Marck Jimenez; great-grandchildren, Mila Jimenez, Michael Jimenez Jr., Grayson Gonzalez; best friend, Francisca Hudson (Panchis); as well as numerous other family and friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
