Becky spent many years as a paralegal before opening her own real estate firm, Pineapple Realty. She chose the name because the pineapple is a symbol of welcome which epitomizes her attitude toward people.
Becky loved her family and made sure birthdays and family get togethers were always special. Before she passed, she wrote a message to all her children and grandchildren that sums up how she felt about life.
“There are many things I learned during my short time on earth, some more important than others. Sometimes along the way I had a few missteps, but I never lost my faith in God, and knew He was always there beside me telling me to get up, brush myself off, learn from my mistakes, and keep going. He had a plan for me. My path, even though it veered sometimes, always led to God.
I want each of you to know how much I love you, and how thankful and appreciative I am to have had the privilege of being your mom and grandma.”
We couldn’t have written a better epitaph for Becky. She loved cooking and caring for her grandkids and their friends. At dinner time, there was always a houseful and she loved it. There isn’t a person who knew her who won’t miss her.
We love you, Becky. You will be in our hearts forever.
