Michael David Blaylock age 68 of Primm Springs, TN passed away February 14,2026. He was a loving husband, brother, father and grandfather.
He followed in his father’s footsteps when he chose his 47 year career as a Tool & Die Maker in the plastic ejection mold industry.
His recreational time was spent on the water from sunup to sundown fishing for bass, crappie or sauger. He also had a passion for restoring firearms, shooting targets or skeet with his sons and grandsons.
David was born in Davidson County, TN on March 6, 1957 to the late Michael and Dimple (Montgomery) Blaylock. He is also preceded in death by his son Michael Benjamin Blaylock, his maternal grandparents Arthur and Erthel (Vaughan) and his parental grandparents Benjamin and Margaret (DeMartini) Blaylock.
He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Shirley (King) Blaylock, son Michael (Kelly) Blaylock; Daughter Summer (Ronnie) Ross; Sisters Rosa (Dale) Lewis, Tammy (Brian) Anderson; Grandchildren, Jacob Blaylock, Matthew Blaylock, Dalton Peek, Tristan Simpson, Peyton Lehew; granddaughter Leah (Mason) Lehew; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to St Judes Children Hospital or The American Heart Association in David Blaylock’s honor.
