Charles Stanley Blaylock, 72, of Sedalia, passed away Monday, February 16, 2026, at his daughter’s home in Warsaw.

He was born October 20, 1953, in Sedalia, a son of the late Charles W. and Goldie M. (Hilt) Blaylock. He was married to Susan Bohon, who survives of the home.

Stanley was a 1973 graduate of Northwest High School in Hughesville. He was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church. He worked for 25 years at Pittsburgh Corning. Known for his strong work ethic, he continued working after retirement in the farming industry and cutting wood. He also helped neighbors and friends with mowing and other yardwork.

He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, fast cars, baking, cooking and following the St. Louis Cardinals. Above all, he valued time with his children and grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, Susan, survivors include three children, Brandon Blaylock, Christopher Blaylock and Amanda Batman (Donnie) all of Warsaw; two stepchildren, Amber Wells and Andrew Benner; three siblings, Nancy Richmond (Leon), Steve Blaylock (Robin), and Tom Blaylock (Marty), all of Sedalia; seven grandchildren, Kylee, Jacob, Emma, Aryan, Thaddeus, Kyle, Christopher Blaylock, and Victoria Monteer; and three great-grandchildren, Krue Morris, River Morris, and Paisley Blaylock.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026, at Heckart Funeral Home, with a memorial service to follow at 3:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the family to be put toward expenses in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
