Belinda Murphy (Brewer), July 19, 1950, in Harlem, New York, to Lillie Cook and Carlee Gator, peacefully passed away on August 9, 2025. She received her education in New York City. Belinda moved to New Jersey in 1970 and eventually would make Greensboro her home in 1993.

Belinda was united in marriage to her beloved husband, Kelvin M. Murphy Sr. on June 12, 1999, in Whiteville, North Carolina. She enjoyed a long career in the food industry, retiring as a dedicated cook, where she shared her love of food and care for others.

Belinda's warmth, kindness, and loving spirit touched everyone who knew her. She is survived by her devoted husband, Kelvin M. Murphy Sr., who will forever cherish her memory; her children, Ralphie Brewer, Ali B. Snead, and Michelle L. Brewer; and her late son, Richard A. Brewer. Belinda also leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 stepchildren: Dr. LaTasha Murphy (Marcy Murphy), Kelvin Jr. Murphy, and Kelondra Murphy-Scott (William Scott). Her love and legacy will continue to live on through the many lives she touched
