Obituary for Bellasofia Christine Perez
November 18, 2013 – September 12, 2025
With deep love and profound sorrow, we announce the passing of our cherished daughter, sister, and angel, Bellasofia Christine Perez, who entered eternal rest at the age of 11.
Born on November 18, 2013, Bellasofia brought immeasurable joy and light to everyone who had the blessing of knowing her. Though she lived with disabilities, she never let the world define her by them. She lived in her own radiant way-full of spirit, sass, and sweetness.
Bellasofia was a feisty, sassy young girl who loved to pull hair just as much as she loved to wrap you in one of her famously strong hugs, followed by the gentlest, sweetest kisses. She knew what she loved, and she loved it fully. Among her greatest joys were watching her favorite TV shows, with Mickey Mouse holding a special place in her heart (even if she still let Minnie appear on the screen from time to time).
She was inseparable from her mom, her safe place and greatest comfort. In her last few months, when her mom had to be away, Bellasofia showed remarkable strength and maturity, understanding more than most children her age should ever have to. She grew quickly, carrying herself with a grace that belied her years, and teaching her family what resilience and love truly mean.
To her family, Bellasofia was pure beauty and light. She showed that joy could be found in the smallest of things, that love could be fierce and tender at once, and that life-even a short one-could shine brighter than the stars.
Bellasofia is survived by her loving family, who will forever hold her memory close and carry her spirit forward. Though her time here was brief, her love and laughter will echo eternally in the hearts of those who loved her.
Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, her love beyond measure.
