Ben Belding Obituary
Entered into rest on Sunday, December 17, 2023, Mr. William Benjamin “Ben” Belding, 61, loving husband of Jenny Belding.
Ben was a native of Augusta. He graduated from Westside High School and attended Augusta Technical College. He was a former member of Lakemont Presbyterian Church where he founded the “Foul Shot” ministry. He was a faithful member of The Sanctuary Church for the last 10 years and volunteered with Celebrate Recovery at The Sanctuary.
Family members, in addition to his wife ( Jenny), include his sons: Judson Belding (Kelly), Austin Belding, and Cason Belding; father: Billy Belding (Joy); sister: Debbie Knochelmann (Richard); stepchildren: Christina Carter (Joe) and Tyler Swift; and grandchildren: Hanna and Ava. He is preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Belding.
Memorial contributions may be made to The Sanctuary, 4584 Cox Rd, Evans, GA 30809 or Young Life Augusta, 2249-B Walton Way, Augusta, GA 30904.
The funeral service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at the Sanctuary Church with Rev. Bryan Cockrell officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Westview Cemetery in Thomson, GA.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Thomas Poteet & Son Funeral Directors, 214 Davis Rd., Augusta, GA 30907 (706) 364-8484.
