Ben Kaiser Jr., 87, of Milford, IN passed away at 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 9, 1931 in Milford, IN to Ben & Marie (Von Bergen) Kaiser.
He was a lifetime Milford area resident and graduated in 1949 from Milford High School. He was married on February 17, 1951 in Milford, IN to Viola M. Stutzman who survives. He retired from Chore Time Brock in Milford, was formerly a farmer, and worked at Crop Fertility Specialists in Milford for many years.
Member of the Wawasee Community Bible Church in Milford and was on a Bowling League in Syracuse.
He loved sports and was very good at basketball and baseball. He was a member of the Milford Trojans Basketball Team that went undefeated and won the county tourney in 1948. He was a very hard worker in providing for his family. He enjoyed spending time mowing his lawn on his beloved John Deere mower, enjoyed listening to southern gospel music, and was an avid cubs fan. He will always be remembered as a faithful, dedicated, and loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

3 Daughters – Kay (Larry) Kammerer of Leesburg, Pam Kaiser-Polk of Leesburg, and Julie (Dick) Doll of Milford
2 Sons – Larry Kaiser of Warsaw & Jay (Tonda) Kaiser of Milford
12 Grand & 16 Gt. Grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters – Eleanor Beer & Harriet Hoerr, and 2 brothers – Robert & Harold Kaiser.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 E. 1300 N, Milford, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 3, 2018 in the church with Pastor Kirk Barger officiating. Burial will follow in the Milford Cemetery. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
Preferred memorials may be given to the Wawasee Community Bible Church, 2035 E. 1300N, Milford, IN 46542.
