In Loving Memory of Ben Quoc Nguyen
With deep sorrow and great love, we share the passing of Nguyen Quoc Ben who left us peacefully on August 23rd, 2025 at the age of 47.
Ben was a man of quiet strength and deep warmth - someone who didn't always show his emotions outwardly, but whose actions spoke volumes. Though his smiles were rare, his heart was big, steady, and always open to others. He cared deeply, loved sincerely, and gave of himself without ever asking for anything in return.
A loving husband, uncle, and brother to all of us, Ben's presence was a source of comfort, loyalty, and unwavering love. He showed up when it mattered, and even in silence, you could feel how much he cared.
Ben was deeply loved by everyone who knew him - family, friends, and all those whose paths he crossed. He brought comfort without words, gave generously without fanfare, and stood by those he loved without hesitation.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dao Nguyen; his mom, Thanh Thu Nguyen; Brothers, Hung Nguyen, Van Nguyen, Cong Nguyen, Vu Nguyen, Khanh Nguyen; as well as an extended family and circle of friends who will forever hold his memory close.
Visitation will be held Thursday and Friday, August 28th and 29th from 9am-9pm at Joseph E. Ratterman & Son Funeral Home, 7336 Southside Dr. His funeral will be held Saturday at 7:45 am at Rattermans followed with mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church at 8am-9am followed with his burial at Calvary Cemetery at 10am, 1600 Newburg RD, Louisville, KY 40205.
We invite all who knew him to join us in remembering a man who gave quietly, loved deeply, and lived with an open heart. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Ben Quoc Nguyen, please visit our Tree Store.
