Thomas Alvey Obituary

Tom was born on September 6, 1951 to the late Joseph and Thelma (Brown) Alvey. He retired from CSX as a carman. Tom served our country in the Army. Tom was Catholic by faith.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother in law Keith Wright.
Survived by his wife of 51 years Mary (Parker) Alvey, son David Alvey; granddaughter Madison Brooke Alvey, "bonus" grandson Hayden Stokley; sister Sharon Wright and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral service will be Thursday October 23, 2025 at 12:00pm Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with burial to Louisville Memorial Gardens West. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital or Kentucky Humane Society.
