Born on January 28, 1976, in Haiti, he brought warmth and compassion to all who knew him, making indelible marks on their hearts as he lived his life, brightening every room with his smile.
As an accomplished Registered Nurse, Benedy dedicated his career to caring for others, showing the same level of commitment and love that he bestowed upon his family. His professional life was a testament to his nurturing nature, as he touched countless lives with his kindness and expertise.
Benedy was more than just a caregiver; he was a beacon of joy and talent in his personal life. He held the titles of a loving father to his sons Laurence, Brandon, and Aiden, and his daughter Liliana. Family gatherings were filled with laughter, delicious meals, and the sound of music as Benedy’s love for cooking complemented his passion for being a DJ. Music was the melody of his life, and he shared that joy with those closest to him, orchestrating unforgettable moments that will be cherished forever.
He was also a great brother, sharing a special bond with his siblings Benoit (Denise), Fred (Denise), and Rodney LaFosse and His loving sister Belinda LaFosse. Benedy's relationships with his family members were foundational to who he was—filled with love, respect, and an undeniable kinship.
In the days to come, Benedy's family and friends will come together to celebrate his remarkable life. They invite you to join them at Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729, on February 10, 2025. The visitation will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 2:00 PM, where they will honor his memory and the incredible legacy of love he leaves behind.
