In Loving Memory of Jose Francisco Cador
April 8, 1929 – July 26, 2025
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Jose Francisco Cador, a beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 96, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on April 8, 1929, in Ojo de Agua, Salcedo, Dominican Republic, to the late Juan Andres Cador and Maria Del Rosario Gonzalez, Jose was known for his gentle demeanor and kindness, qualities that touched everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
He will be deeply missed by his children: Josephine Duran, Ramon (Emily), the late Milagros Peña (Alberto) and Ricardo (Jovanna); his grandchildren: Jeffery (Manuela), Suzette, Hector (Dominique), Steven (Liz), Raymel, Melissa (Mathew), Jamilette, Ramon (Jessica), and Ricky; and his many great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings: Ana Cado and Fausto Gonzalez.
Jose was preceded in death by his beloved wife Justina Ynfante, his daughter Milagros Peña and his siblings Juana Cado, Reina Kado, and Segundo Cado.
Jose's life was defined by his dedication to his family and his community. He worked hard to support not only his own household but also extended family members. In his later years, he found great joy in simple pleasures, especially his late-in-life discovery of pizza and salami with white cheese sandwiches. He loved going on walks and made it a point to greet everyone he passed with a smile.
A memorial service will be held on July 30, 2025, at 4:00 PM, where family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate his remarkable life.
Jose's gentle spirit, warm smile, and love will be forever cherished. His legacy of kindness and quiet strength will continue to inspire those who knew him.
