Benjamin Chavez Obituary
Benjamin Chavez, age 87, born in Namiquipa, Chihuahua, Mexico and resident of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on August 15, 2025. Bejamin is survived by his wife, Gloria Vargas de Chavez; children, Hortencia Rodriguez and husband, Alejandro, Silvia Chavez, Oscar Chavez, Saul Chavez and wife, Liz; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; sisters, Nena Chavez and Antonia Chavez. He was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Chavez Jr. Visitation for Mr. Chavez will be held in The Gabaldon Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow the Rosary at Mt. Calvary Cemetery 1900 Edith Blvd NE. Pallbearers will be family members.
