Benjamin Garcia Obituary

Ben was a devoted husband, father and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his grandchildren. He was known for his kind and gentle nature. His calm presence, compassionate heart, and unwavering patience touched everyone who knew him. He was an avid musician playing guitar with several bands, the latest being the Mad Ants. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and camping. He was also a natural tinkerer – always fixing things. Ben was a manager at Kmart and TSC.
Surviving is his wife Helen (Frogge) Garcia, his children, Sean Frogge and Benny (Terah) Garcia and his beloved grandchildren, Addi Frogge, Hudson Garcia and Cruz Frogge. Also surviving are his siblings, Juan Garcia, Maria (Tom) Strimbu, Rose (Robert) Hooker, Rachel (Mike) Bridgewaters, Maria (del Pilar) Garcia and Gloria (Bob) Dacey, several brother and sister in laws on the Frogge side and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Anthony "Tony" Garcia, his parents, brother Oscar Garcia and sister-in-law Donna Garcia. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Ben, I always enjoyed working with you. You were a kind and gentle soul with a great sense of humor. Always had a story to tell. Rest in Peace Brother, you will be missed by all that knew you!

I only knew Ben for a few months as I work at TSC with him. He instantly made me feel welcome. You can ask anyone who works there and they will all say the same thing, he was so kind hearted and so much fun to work with. I am so sorry for his family's loss. He will be greatly missed by many.
