Benjamin (Kip) Griffith, 45, of Shinnston, passed away at his residence on June 5, 2024. He was born on January 2, 1979, in Fairmont, a son to Lawrence and Sharon Griffith. Along with his parents, he is survived by his sister Sarah Griffith; niece Lilli Lantz; brother John Griffith and wife Chasity of Columbus, and nieces Ava and Kennedy Griffith. He's also survived by good friends Chris and Christa Parker of Farmington, Mike and Pam Harris of Wallace, and Chuck Bell of Shinnston.
He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Lillian Swiger; paternal grandparents Benjamin Ernest Griffith and Myrtle Francis Griffith; aunt Bonnie Marstiller; and cousin Wesley Gibson.
Kip was an avid lover of the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and riding four-wheelers. He loved his dogs, Wiggles and Lady, and playing video games. Kip had the best sense of humor and was always making everyone laugh.
A memorial service will be held on June 13, 2024 at 2:00PM at First Baptist Church, 70 Rebecca St. Shinnston, WV.

Sorry to hear this news, I will miss that smiling face and miss watching his mud bog videos...they were great and so much fun to watch. I used to babysit Kip when he was a baby & toddler. We always had so much fun. RIP, I hope his family and friends will find comfort in remembering all the good times and laughs had with Kip over the years.
