He was born on September 29, 2000, in Portland, Maine to John A. and Jennier (Viel) Harvey-Levasseur.
Benjamin attended and graduated from Marshwood High School, 2019. Additionally, he is also a graduate of Sanford Vocational School, obtaining his welding certification. He was employed as a welder, for Messer Truck Equipment in Westbrook, Maine.
Benjamin's short life was filled with laughter, love and the ability to help anyone within his reach. He always had a smile and kind words for anyone he met. Ben enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, working on trucks and cars with the abundant number of friends. Ben loved deeply and will be missed by all that he loved and those that loved him.
He is predeceased by his grandmother Doris P. Auclair. Survivors include by the love of his life, Katelynn Tautkas; parents John A. Harvey, Jennifer (Marc) Harvey-Levasseur of Milton; sister Emma Harvey of Milton: brother Colton Harvey of Rollinsford; stepbrothers Cam and Andre Levasseur; stepsister Chantelle Levasseur. Many aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews. Last but not least, his beloved companion Harley.
Services: A funeral service will be held at 10:30 on Wednesday, August 21at St. Mary's Church, 411 Church Street, Rollinsford, with an interment to immediate follow at New Town Cemetery. A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Sunday, August 25, from 1:00 – 6:00 PM at the American Legion Hall, 551 Foundry Street, Rollinsford. I was so saddened today, Messer Truck held their annual plow inspection day that's where I found about the tragic passing of Ben, what a loss to bare,
The people of Messer Truck spoke very highly of Ben and he made such an impact with everyone he worked with. Rest assured Ben is always with loved ones
