Benjamin Jones, born on August 8, 1946, in Atlanta, Georgia, passed away peacefully at his residence in Covington, Georgia, on December 27, 2025. He lived a full and meaningful life, leaving behind a legacy of love, warmth, and kindness that resonated with all who had the privilege to know him.
Family and Friends will come together to honor Benjamin's memory during two significant events. A Visitation will be held on January 2, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Lester Lackey & Sons Funeral Home, Inc. 1163 Reynolds Street SW, Covington, GA 30014. Following this, a Celebration of Life service will take place at on Saturday, January 3, 2026, 11:00 A.M. at Rock Creek Baptist Church 3761 County Line Rd., Mansfield, GA 30055. Interment, Church Cemetery.
Benjamin Jones will be profoundly missed by his friends and the community at large. His impact on the lives he touched will continue to be felt for years to come.
