Benjamin James Lowenthal, born 10/20/70, died Sunday 5/19/24 after a lifelong struggle and many successes to live fully. He was born with a genetic kidney disease and was predicted to die in infancy. Despite lifelong challenges, he graduated from High school and went on to get 3 associates degrees, completing his final degree while in the hospital having a kidney transplant. He valued work and found a fit in warehouse work, and he was a steady and loyal worker in all of his jobs. His heart was the strongest part of his body, not only loving life but loving others. In Fall of 2010 he also developed a genetic liver disease which ended his triumphant life. He still lives on through his close family ties with younger brothers Andy and Abe, Pastor Parents Bob and Joy Lowenthal and lots of Aunts, Uncles, and cousins who helped him celebrate his life in the ten days he was in hospice and with many past birthdays and family gatherings. We thank family, friends, former parishioners, colleagues, lifelong buddies, and the fantastic hospitals of the University of Vermont, and Albany NY Medical center. Most of all we thank their loving caring staff from birth to present, and the exceptional care of Hospice and his Primary doctors, especially Dr. Michael Lettrick. Thanks also to the many teachers, professors, members of the Committee on the Handicapped and parishioners of our parishes who added to his ability to live and believe he could live forever! A celebration of life service will be held at the Corinth United Methodist Church, 243 Main St, Corinth, NY 12822, on Sunday, June 2, 2024 at 2pm. Services will be streamed on their facebook at https://www.facebook.com/p/Corinth-First-United-Methodist-Church-100064566226145/
