Benjamin Mast

Benjamin Dale Mast of West Los Angeles, CA passed away on September 14, 2024. He was 42. Benjamin was born on December 18, 1981, in Dover, DE to Miriam and Dale Mast.
Benjamin attended Polytech High School. He then went on to earn an associate's degree in business administration from Delaware Technical Community College. He also attended Global Supernatural School of Ministry for a year.
Ben worked with Oather Queen in his landscaping business while attending Del Tech. After Del Tech, he began working as a credit analyst for Bank of America, Ben traveled and ministered with his father in Dale Mast Ministries throughout his early years on weekends. Ben also worked in the Customer Service as Credit Card Analyst in Utica, New York. He also worked seasonally for Census Bureau, in the furniture Store Sleep Cheap, owned by his Uncle Kevin Mast, Ben worked for his first cousin, Michael Hershberger, owner of at R.P.M. Custom Automotive Superstore in Richmond, VA. He worked for his cousin, Jay Swartzentruber at J & J Auto Car Sales in Dover, Delaware.
Benjamin would spend hours listening to worship music and was an avid worshipper. He loved socializing and talking to people, he had a big heart to bless people. In his free time, Benjamin enjoyed living in the moment and loved to make people laugh.
Benjamin is preceded in death by his mother, Miriam (Hershberger) Mast.
Benjamin is survived by his father, Dale Mast and his step-mother, LuAnne Lent Mast of Dover, DE, his sister, Heidi Mast of Camden, Delaware: His brother, Andrew Mast of Castle Rock, Colorado married to Amanda with daughters Lena and Masie; Zachary Mast of Castle Rock, Colorado married to Amber with daughter Bailey and son Logan, two step-brothers and their wives, Michael and Jessica Black of Frankfort, NY and, Matthew and Zuzana Black of Magnolia, Delaware.
Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Saturday, November 16, 2024, with a visitation with family members with picture memories of Benjamin Mast,
from 11am to 1pm, at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E Lebanon Rd. Interment will follow at Barratt's Chapel Cemetery in Frederica. A meal will follow at F&A Fellowship Church at 2736 Forrest Ave Dover, DE 19904.
