Benjamin Richard Ricucci, 84, of Clifton, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022. Born in Paterson, Ben has resided in Clifton for most of his life. Before retirement, he was employed as an Expediter with Howmedica Corp. of East Rutherford. Previously, for 25 years, he was the owner of Town and Country Liquor Store on Main Avenue in Clifton. Ben was a faithful parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church in Clifton. He was a devoted fan of the New York Giants and was a season ticket holder for 60 years.
He was predeceased by his parents, Pasquale and Helen (nee Tuttle) Ricucci.
Survivors include: his beloved wife, Joan (nee Streppone); his three children, Jill Ricucci, David Ricucci and Stacy Kopec (Robert); one brother, Pat Ricucci, his wife Judi and their children, Stephen Ricucci (Rachel), Christine Ricucci (Russell) and Jason Cook (Lisa); his sister-in-law, Jean Collins, her husband, Tom and their children, Jenny Amato (the late Steven Amato) and Brian Collins (Tracy).
Visitation will be held Thursday, Dec. 29, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue, Clifton. Funeral services will be held Friday, Dec. 30 at 10:45 am from the funeral home followed by an 11:30 am Mass at St. Philip the Apostle R.C. Church, 797 Valley Road, Clifton. Private cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or American Heart Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glen Allen, VA 23060.
