Benjamin Joseph Trapuzzano

Benjamin Joseph Trapuzzano, age79, of Land O' Lakes, FL (formerly of McKees Rocks, PA), passed away Thursday, February 8, 2024. He was the proud and cherished father of Rachael (Lee) Pruitt, Shayne Trapuzzano (Rob Young), Matthew (Molly) Trapuzzano, and Christopher Trapuzzano; brother of Marion (Bob) Ambrozic and Robert (Cheryl) Trapuzzano; and grandfather, “Pap-pap”, of Gianna, Cecilia, Carolina, Gemma, Olivia, Vita, and Nathan.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank (1995) and Mary (2016), and his son, Nathan (2014).  He is also survived by numerous other family, friends, and loved ones.

Ben spent his career teaching elementary school and working as a car and small engine repair mechanic. He enjoyed cooking in his later years and was excited about the upcoming birth of his 8th grandchild.

Relatives and friends received Monday, February 19, 2024, from 1-3 &  6-8 pm, at McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108.  Funeral prayer Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 9;15 AM at the funeral home followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Archangel Gabriel Parish, St. Malachy Church, 343 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Township  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ben's memory may be made to The Veterans of Foreign Wars, Processing Center, P.O.
