LaVerne M. OConnor

LaVerne OConnor, age 76, of Kennedy Township, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2026. Beloved daughter of the late Leverne C. and Veronica OConnor. She graduated from Sto-Rox High School in 1967. Laverne worked for Union National Bank then as a secretary for the Allegheny County Children Youth Services. She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She loved animals especially cats and horses. She will be dearly missed by her friends. Celebration of LaVerne's Life will be held Saturday, January 24, 2026, at 11AM at Green Tree Ward - Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 46 School Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15220 with Bishop Jed Benson presiding. A light luncheon will be served following the service. Arrangements entrusted to McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Kennedy Township.
