Joseph F. Spisic

Joseph "Sonny" F. Spisic, Jr. went to his eternal resting home on Sunday, March 1, 2026. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph F. Spisic, Sr. and his mother Anna Bronowicz Spisic, his sister, Dorothy Cross, and his brothers- in-law George Hric, Sr. and Roy Cross, Sr. He leaves behind his loving sisters and brother, Doris "Chookie" Hric, James "Jamo" Spisic (Cathy), and Joann McMahon (Patrick). He was the loving and fun uncle to many nieces, nephews, and their spouses. He had many friends and neighbors who will fondly miss him.

Sonny also served our country in the US Army with great dedication and pride. He worked for Duer Spring for many years until his retirement. Sonny will always be remembered for his ever-giving heart and the loving care he gave his father during his battle with Alzheimer's. He also enjoyed going to the casino and playing the lottery.

Per Sonny's request there will be no viewing or funeral. A committal service will be held Friday, March 13, 2026, at 1:30 PM in St Mark's Cemetery with military honors. Arrangements entrusted to McDERMOTT FUNERAL HOME, 334 Forest Grove Road, Coraopolis (Kennedy Township) PA 15108.
