Benn Kyzer

Benn Adams Kyzer, 29, passed away January 20, 2025.
Born in Asheville, North Carolina, he was a son of Paul Daniel Kyzer, Jr. of Simpsonville and Patricia Rose Hicks Kyzer of Taylors. Benn came into this world with a smile on his face and a sense of adventure. He grew into himself playing in the woods and making music with his siblings Eli, Abbey, and Jenna and his cousins Max and Gavi. He spent his formative years surrounded by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Along the way, he made lifelong friends, who he treated like family, always bringing them along with him on his adventures. He lived in Australia, Hawaii, and Alaska embracing people and life in every place he went. He made everyone smile along with him and often encouraged people to higher heights and a fuller life. His best and favorite adventure was being a dad to Ocean, his biggest love.
Benn lived big, smiled big, and loved big. On January 20, 2025, he left a huge space behind where his body once was. His spirit will be carried in our hearts forever.
Also surviving are his daughter, Ocean-Sage Rosemaria Kyzer; a brother, Eli Kyzer; and two sisters, Abbey Kyzer and Jenna Hill (Rayne) and a niece, Willow Hill.
Funeral services will be held 5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church conducted by Pastor Sid Emory.
Visitation will be held 4:00-5:00 p.m. Sunday, February 2, 2025, at Eastside Apostolic Lutheran Church.
