Benny Quintana Obituary

Benny was born on February 4th, 1923, to Porfirio Quintana and Navorcita Archuleta in Boone, Colorado.
He was a proud Army Veteran who served valiantly in World War II. Once home from the war, Benny met and married the love of his life, Odelia Martinez on June 4, 1949. They purchased the first home built in the neighborhood they would live in for the next 73 years. In this home they raised three beautiful children, David Quintana (married to Lauraine Quintana), Thomas Quintana (married to Brenda Quintana, and Diana McCarl (married to David McCarl).
Benny was a loving grandfather to four grandchildren, David W. Quintana (married to Kelly Quintana), Christopher L. Hollens (married to Kelli Hollens), Stephanie Quintana and Crystal Quintana. In addition to his grandchildren, he was blessed with six great grandchildren, Dayana, Cody, Amari, Geo, Tanner, and Rhiley.
Benny and Odelia opened Ben's Upholstery in 1967 where he worked hard to provide for his family until he happily retired at the age of 65. He loved fishing with his family in beautiful locations around Colorado, Wyoming, and Montana. He enjoyed watching the Colorado Rockies and betting against the Denver Broncos just to get a rise out of the family. He loved his Westerns and watching the neighborhood go by while sitting on the front porch.
Services will be held at Fort Logan Cemetery, Pavilion C on June 26, 2024, at 10am followed by a reception at 220 S. Weir Drive Denver, Colorado
