Passed away peacefully Wednesday October 1, 2025, two weeks following her 90th birthday at Sunny Hill Nursing Home in Joliet. A resident of Shorewood, formerly 39 years in Romeoville. Bernadette is survived by her loving sons Richard (Rosa) Klein, Keith (Debbie) Klein, and Douglas (the late Renee) Klein; siblings Walther (Carolyn) Dockus, Elrita (Frank) Zielinski, and Ronald (Donna) Dockus; grandchildren Amy, Coleen, Paul, Kelly, Christi, Brandy, and Heather; great grandchildren C.J., Haley, and Mason; great great grandson Garrett, also numerous nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by her loving husband of 53 years Richard J. Klein; parents Walter and Antoinette Dockus, also two sons Gregory (Sylvianna) Klein and Wayne Klein. Visitation Tuesday from 3pm to 8pm at Anderson Memorial Home, 21131 W. Renwick Rd., Plainfield, IL 60544. Funeral Wednesday October 8, 2025, 9:15 am from the funeral home chapel to St. Andrew the Apostle Parish in Romeoville for a 10am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville.
