Bernadette Krumpak Obituary

Published by Legacy on Oct. 1, 2025.
Bernadette Krumpak (née Dupey) also widely known in the community as Bernie, passed away in her home at age 78 on 8-28-25. She was a beloved mother, Grandmother and friend to many. Bernie was a beautiful soul and was fiercely dedicated to her employer and her family. She had a passion for listening and giving others advice in efforts to help them. Her generosity and kindness were unmatched. She worked for 40 plus years as a clerk and assistant manager for an open pantry convenient store and would more recently work at 2 Kmart locations and a Marc's discount store.
She is survived by her children - Hope (53,) Jenn (51) and George (44) and her grandchildren -Tristan (31), Alexi (14-1/2) and Zoe (13).
Bernie was diagnosed with Stage 4 Breast Cancer in May 2024. Bernie was a fighter and combatted her battle with Radiation and Chemotherapy until the negative side effects outweighed the benefit. Bernie chose to stop all treatment in May 2025 and began Home Hospice. Bernie passed peacefully in her sleep. The nurses commented that she looked at peace. She even seemed to have a little smile on her face.
