Bernadine Glapinski Obituary
(Nee Zielinski). The last of the "8th St. Beauties" has rejoined her sisters and brother on December 31, 2022 at the age 90. Lifetime Sweetheart of devoted husband Michael T. for 70 years. Bernie and Mike were married at the Basilica of St. Josaphat on October 18, 1952. They began their married life in Washington, D.C. while Mike finished his military service. They then returned to Milwaukee to raise their family.
Bernie and Mike enjoyed travelling and made more than 25 visits to the Hawaiian Islands. She loved everything Hawaiian.
Bernie is survived by her husband Michael; children Michael D. (Cindy), James (Barbara), and John (Renee); 6 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren. Further survived by other loved relatives and friends.
Sincere thanks to the staff at Heritage Muskego and Brighton Hospice for all of their kind and compassionate care.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Max A. Sass & Sons-Westwood Chapel (W173 S7629 Westwood Dr., Muskego) on Friday, January 6 starting at 11AM until time of Memorial Service at 12:30PM.
