Age 75 of North Huntingdon Twp., passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 17, 2025. Beloved husband of Sharon (McElhose) Bahleda. Loving father of Stephen (Lindsey) Bahleda, Julie (Timothy, Sr.) Kratt, Patricia (Robert) Johnston, Dana (Shawn) Smartnick, and Melinda Brown. Proud grandfather to 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brothers, James (Cathy) Bahleda and Robert (Diane) Bahleda. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Edward and Elizabeth Rita (Dzurek) Bahleda.

Bern was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service retiring after 32 years of dedicated service. In his retirement he enjoyed working around the house, going on camping trips, fishing, traveling, and dancing. He also was a fantastic chef who loved to cook for his family and was always the "life of the party".

Friends will be received Monday, July 21, 2025 from 2 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 7:30 p.m. at the JOBE FUNERAL HOME & CREMATORY, INC., 118 Shaw Avenue, Turtle Creek (412-823-1950). www.jobefuneralhome.com.
