I'm so sorry for your loss.my father worked with Bernie .they were in the same unit (sporting events for cpd ) his name was Ralph conone Bernie would always have my fathers back when they were working together,that's what my dad use to always tell me .I'm Ralphs son Ralph Bernie was a good man may he rest in peace

I worked with Bernie briefly in the late 1970's in the Prairie Ave district 021. He had a good sense of humor and good sense of how to carry himself on the job, something I paid attention to as I was just starting my career. RIP
