Bernard "Bernie" Charles Deemer, 70 of Bethel Park, PA, passed away peacefully with his family by his side.
Bernie was born on September 9, 1954 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late William Deemer and Margaret (Weinheimer) Deemer.
Bernie retired from Union Electric Steel as a Machine Operator. Many will remember Bernie for his love of riding his Quad with his friends in addition to playing poker with them; but most of all, he was a football enthusiast, always participating in a good football pool.
In addition to his parents, Bernie was preceded in death by his four siblings, Tom Deemer, Ken Deemer, Elaine Mitts and Marsha Smith.
Bernie is survived by his loving daughters, Amy Deemer of Northern Virginia and Kim Wolfram and her husband, Kenny of Pittsburgh, PA, a brother, William Deemer and his wife, Margie of St. Louis, MO and numerous nieces and nephews.
The James Funeral Home of Follansbee, WV (304)527-1717 is honored and privileged to assist the Deemer Family during this time with a simple cremation and a private celebration of life at a later date.
