I was fortunate to have worked with Barney while he was employed at EA Martin Machinery until he retired and beyond during his days with Billings Special Rd. District. I was in the parts dept. and he was a service/ field technician and many times he was kind and patient to assist me when I needed help locating a part on a machine. As time went on from his training with me and further product knowledge I obtained from time to time I would challenge Barney in passing to make sure he remained sharp and he was of course.
One Great memory I have of Barney was when it was about quitting time for the shop technicians and I was walking down the center aisle of the service dept. after being there approx. 6 yrs. or so I remember Barney shouting out to me .... "Ken Nelson.... Don't you make a career in this Building!" Well I did listen, but I remained and retired after 37-1/2 yrs. of service.
There's not enough kind words to describe this man. He will be truly missed but his memories will last forever.
To the Fabro family you have my deepest sympathy ...
Rest In Peace Banardo (Barney)

I have just learned of the passing of Barney. Please accept the sympathy of the Martin family. It was nice to have visited with him while on the Honor Flight a few years ago. Since I will not be able to attend Barney's services, you will be in our thoughts and prayers.
