KNOPPE, BERNARD R. "Roe" of Auburn Hills; March 15, 2023; age 88; Loving father of Valerie Nelson, Wendy (Michael) Rogelle-Nardone, Tim (Donna) Knoppe, Jon (Bonnie) Knoppe and the late Renee (late Charlie) Verno; Dear brother of John Knoppe, Judy Baldridge, and the late Adeline Hill, George Knoppe, Bill Knoppe and Steve Knoppe; Grandfather of 15 and Great grandfather of 23. Predeceased by the mother of his children, Carole Knoppe; Mr. Knoppe worked in skilled trades for Invo Spline and was a union steward. He was a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Bay City and a proud member of the Knights of Columbus. Roe loved organic gardening, fishing and, especially, his dog "Peaches." Funeral Services will be held Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at the Riverside Chapel, Simpson-Modetz Funeral Home, 5630 Pontiac Lake Road, Waterford. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday 12 noon until time of service. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
