Lucas Allan Tompkins of Webberville, died September 1, 2025 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was 46 years old. Lucas was born in Pontiac, to Robert and Michele Tompkins.

Lucas was a fan of being fast and loud. In his youth he enjoyed his mustang and riding his motorcycle. In more recent times he enjoyed driving his mud truck at local mud Boggs. Truck driving ran in the family. In his younger years Lucas followed in his dad's foot steps and was an owner operator with Atlas Van Lines. More recently he was a truck driver at EWS. He adored his family and loved his time spent with them. He was known for his "dad jokes" and for making connections with family, friends, business partners and anyone he would speak with. Lucas was a street-smart man with a tremendous work ethic and he will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Lucas is survived by his beloved wife Abbey, his daughter Kayla (Jake) Harless, and his granddaughter Cheyanne. He is also survived by his mother Shelly, his sister Cassey (Jason) Sylvester, their children Penelope and Bobby, and his sisters-in-law Miranda (Derek) DeVries, their children Kaleigh and Ty, and Brandi Coffman, her children, Payton and Hunter. Lucas was preceded in death by his father Robert Tompkins.

Visitation will be on Saturday, September 6, from 3-8pm at Lynch & Sons Funeral Directors, 5391 Highland Rd., Waterford, Michigan 48327. Funeral Service will be on Sunday, September 7, at 11am at the funeral home. Friends may begin visiting at 10am.

Following the funeral, a memorial luncheon will be held from 1-5pm at the American Legion Devereaux Post 141, 3265 W. Grand River Ave., Howell, Michigan 48855.
