Bernard J. "Bernie" Reidinger

Bernard J Reidinger, 80, passed away December 11, 2023 in Morristown Medical
Center.
Bernie was born in East Orange and raised in Newark and West Orange. He
moved to Parsippany from Hackettstown in 1978.
He was a NJ Master Plumber and pipefitter employed by Litzebauer Brothers of
Maplewood and Rutgers University Newark early in his career, then by Novartis in
Summit for over 38 years. He held licenses for the NJ Uniform Construction Code
and taught plumbing at Morris County Vo-Tech Nite School.
Bernie was a model train enthusiast, spending hours setting up his ever-changing
2-room basement exhibit. He was also an avid golfer, and an excellent bowler.
While the 300 game eluded him, he was proud of his 299, as well as the Hole-In-
One he shot at the Knoll Golf Course! He loved board and word games, and
puzzles, rarely missing a game night at church!
Bernie is predeceased by his parents, Sylvester and Margaret (McCormack)
Reidinger and his beloved wife Ann (Butterfield) Reidinger.
He is survived by his daughter Lori Roselli, sons Steven and Scott (Cheryl), his
grand- children Dante, Dion, Steven, Chase, Blake, Savannah and Madison, 7
siblings David (Barbara), Howard (Linda), William (Gloria), Michael, Monica,
Kevin (Lisa) and Rita (David) and over 40 nieces, nephews, great nieces and
nephews, and great-great nieces – all who loved Uncle B and the fun he brought to
every gathering. His sense of humor will be missed by everyone he touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Service at 5:30pm Sunday, December 17, 2023 at the Par-Troy Funeral Home 95 Parsippany Rd, Parsippany, NJ 07054 (973) 887-3235.
