It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Bernard M. Tuohy Jr. Bernard was 91 years old and lived in Yarmouth Port, Massachusetts. He passed away suddenly on May 6th, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. Bernard was born in Boston, Massachusetts, the son of Bernard and Willma (Hill) Tuohy. He graduated from Boston English and then entered the Air Force. He served four years and then 16 years in the National Guard.
Bernard married Phyllis (Goggin) on September 24, 1960. Bernard and Phyllis were married for 64 loving years.
Surviving Bernard are his wife, Phyllis, and their 2 Children, Louise (Tuohy) Sennott and her husband, Frank Sennott, and Nancy (Tuohy) Malzone and her husband, Frank Malzone. He has 4 grandchildren, Kelly Sennott and her fiancé Joseph Clyne, Patrick Sennott and His fiancée Caitlin Morris, Frank Malzone Jr., and his wife Nicole, and Jennifer (Malzone) Cocuzzo and her husband Joseph. Bernard is also survived by 2 great-grandchildren, Giamarie Cocuzzo and Francesco Malzone.
Also surviving Bernard are his brother Robert Tuohy and his wife Patricia Tuohy, and several nieces and nephews.
Bernard worked for the United States National Weather Service for many years, retiring in 1987. He and Phyllis enjoyed the winters in Florida and the summers on Cape Cod. Bernard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Although Bernard is gone, he will live in our hearts forever.

Funeral services will be held at St. Edward the Confessor Church, 133 Spring Street, Medfield, Mass., on May 19th at 10:00 a.m.
A private burial service will be held at Joint Base Cape Cod on May 20th.
